Sally-Ann Poulsen
Target 2035 invited speaker Sally-Ann Poulsen is Professor and Deputy Director at Griffith Institute for Drug Discovery (GRIDD), Griffith University, Brisbane, Australia. She is also Director of Compounds Australia, Australia's dedicated compound management and logistics facility, currently curating >1.5 million compounds including Nature Bank. The scope of her research is related to the development of new chemical probes, medicinal chemistry targeting cancer and infectious disease, and fragment screening using native state mass spectrometry. She pursues projects in these areas with collaborators in Australia and internationally, both from academia and industry. Her research is defined by the application of chemistry expertise to address complex questions across biology. She is currently an Associate Editor of the American Chemical Society journal 'Journal of Medicinal Chemistry'. She is author of ~100 publications in the field of medicinal chemistry and chemical biology.
