I'm a Ph. D. student from Japan, and now I'm staying at The University of Queensland as a visiting research student.
My major is chemical biology of nucleic acids.
Mainly, I'm studying sequence-specific DNA-binder, Pyrrole−Imidazole Polyamides (PIPs).
I work on the synthesis of PIPs, evaluation of their DNA binding properties, and evaluation of their intracellular activity (regulation of gene expression, cellular uptake, anti-cancer activity, etc.).
