Shaomeng Wang
Dr. Shaomeng Wang received his B.S. degree from Peking University and his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Case Western Reserve University and did his postdoctoral fellowship at NIH. Dr. Wang is the Warner-Lambert/Parke-Davis Professor in Medicine and Professor of Internal Medicine and Pharmacology and Medicinal Chemistry at University of Michigan.
Dr. Wang has authored >320 peer-reviewed publications and is an inventor of 66 granted US patents. Dr. Wang has advanced 10 compounds into Phase 1-3 clinical development. Dr. Wang is a fellow of the National Academy of Inventors and a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Dr. Wang was induced into the Hall of Fame of the Division of Medicinal Chemistry of American Chemical Society.
